Detective branch arrested two Yaba traffickers and seized over 20 thousand pieces of Yaba pill from the port city in the late night on Saturday. The DB police also recovered tk. 1 lakh 80 thousand, after conducting an operation at a rented house at Amirabag area under Chakbazar Thana. The detainees were identified as Alamgir and Ayub.
The Yaba traffickers used to supply the contraband drugs covering by sound box and were carrying on their ill business by renting three aristocrat flats in the city, Babul AKther, Additional Superintend of Police (ASP) investigation told our correspondent.
