The British Hospitality School, well known for their quality of education and hands-on approach to Hospitality training is now accepting applications for their very first batch of students, at their new institute in Dhaka.
Welcome Skills International School (WSIS) of Hospitality is inviting students and Hospitality professionals to enroll in their uniquely crafted courses. The new School located in the capital features a 50 seater ‘live’ training restaurant, state of the art kitchen, a hotel style reception, mock bedroom and bathroom, student learning hub and IT enhanced SMART classrooms. Learners will also have access to an up to date online learning platform.
At WSIS, all students follow a British NVQ curriculum and the school practices a 100 percent ‘English only’ speaking environment. To facilitate the growth of international hotels in Bangladesh, the school currently offers courses in Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Customer Service. A selection of specialised short courses are also available. Bespoke training programmes are available for the industry.
These fast track courses require students to study for an intensive 8 weeks in school and then complete an 8 week internship in a 4/5 star hotel in Bangladesh. Every student has the opportunity on completion to gain employment in Bangladesh, the UAE and other locations abroad through WSIS’s network.
In January, 2019 new courses in Hospitality Management, Aviation Management and cabin crew operations will be launched at HND level. Students will be able to progress onto our affiliated Universities and Colleges in the UK to complete the final year of the B.A (Hons) Hospitality Management.
The faculty at WSIS is comprised of educators, all of whom have extensive knowledge and experience with global brands in the Hospitality industry. Andrew Pennington, a British national with around 30 years’ worth of experience in the Hospitality Industry has joined the Dhaka branch as the Principal.
