Workers Party of Bangladesh, on Wednesday morning, further demanded 14 party alliance nomination for Jashore- 4 constituency. The party’s politbureau member Iqbal Kabir Jahid is the aspirant.
The party came up with the demand at a press conference held at the party office in Jashore.
The press conference was attended by Iqbal Kabir Jahid, Zillur Rahman Bhitu, general secretary, WP, Jashore district unit and leaders of the party Jakir Hossain Hobi, Nazim Uddin, Isarul Haque, Baikuntha Bihari Roy, Yunus Talukder, Anup Kumar Pintu and other leaders.
In the press conference, it was alleged that the Awami League nominated a corrupt and collaborator of Rajakar Amjad for Jashore- 4 constituency for which WP further asked the concerned to reconsider decision about nomination of 14 party alliances for Jashore. ‘Iqbal Kabir Jahid is the fittest candidate as gained popularity for leading Bhabadah movement and other people oriented movements,’ the press conference said.
