World Vision chief due today

Humanitarian organization World Vision International (WVI) President Kevin J. Jenkins will arrive Dhaka on Friday on a four-day visit to Bangladesh.
His first visit to the country will focus mainly on interaction with community people, including children being served by World Vision Bangladesh (WVB).
The WVI chief will witness changes in the lives of the beneficiaries of different programmes of education, health, economic development, livelihood and security, climate change and disaster mitigation, said a press release.
During this tour, Jenkins will visit WVB programmes in Khulna, Bogra and Dhaka. He will be accompanied by his communication officer Nigel Marsh, World Vision South Asia and Pacific region leader Trihadi Saptoadi, WVB National Director Jan De Waal and senior officials of country office.
The WVI chief will leave Bangladesh in the afternoon on 10 February.
