A public awareness rally was held on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day 2018 with the initiative of Hepatology Department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) recently.
Associate Professor and Departmental Head of Hepatitis Department Dr. Farooq Ahmed, Association for the Study of Liver Disease of Bangladesh (ASLDB) President and Professor of UGC Prof Selimur Rahman, BMA Joint Secretary and Cardiac Surgeon Prof Dr Kamrul Hasan Milon, Principal of Dhaka Medical College Prof Dr Khan Abul Kalam Azad, Vice-Principal Dr Shafiqul Alam Choudhury, Director of the Hospital Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin and General Secretary of Teachers Association Dr Debesh Chandra Talukder also addressed on the occasion.
Moreover, Dr Abul Hayat Manik facilitated the programme while Associate Prof Dr Shahriar Nabi Shakil, Dr Proddyut Kumar Saha, Dr Saiful Islam Parvez, Dr Tonmoy Saha, Dr Saimon and Dr Saad Ahmed Tonmoy were also present on the occasion.
