Bangladesh Islami Front, Jubosena and Chatrasena , Chittagong North & South District and Mohanagar Unit formed human chain and rally in front of Chittagong Press Club on Saturday to protesting the killings of Rohingya muslims in Myanmar. The leaders and people irrespective of caste and creed urged upon the international community to come forward for stopping the gruesome killings of Rohingyas by Myanmar army.
A protest rally followed by human chain also held at the same spot. Chief coordinator of Ahle Sunnatal Jamaat central committee and secretary general of BIF Moulana MA Matin in his brief deliberations said Myanmar govt being imbued with their religious spirit, minority Muslims in Rakhaine state are being tortured in every steps including indiscriminate killings and raping to women for the last 34 years and the Rohingya Muslims are compelled to leave their homeland through destroying their dwelling houses. He urges the international community and global human rights organizations to stand before the Rohingya Muslims .
He also mentioned that Myanmar govt has snatched away the rights of voting and rights of citizen. He said beside the armed forces, a religious section of Myanmar majority community also undergoing the torturing in different way, the speakers said. The speakers in the rally also criticize the role of UN, Arab League, OIC and International Human rights Orgranisation towards the oppressed minority community of Myanmar . President of BIF, chittagong city unit Naimul Islam Putul presided the rally and Moulana Nurul Islam Jihadi delivered the address of welcome in the rally. Among others central leaders of BIF were present on the occasion, sources said.
