The closing and certificate awarding ceremony of a 2 (two) days Training Workshop “Re-Engineering and Upgradation of Machinery for Product Diversification and Enhancement of Export Potency in Light Engineering Sector” was held on 20th June at the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
This workshop was organized by IAT, BUET and sponsored by Light Engineering Business Product Promotion Council (LEPBPC), Ministry of Commerce, GoB. Participants of the workshop were Entrepreneurs, Owners, Engineers, Technologists and Managers (26 Nos.) from various engineering industries and enterprises of the country.
Teachers of different departments/Institute of BUET as well as experts from public organizations were the resource persons of the workshop.
Prof. Dr. Satya Prasad Majumder, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) graced the closing ceremony of the training workshop and distributed certificates among the participants at the end of the workshop.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Arif Hasan Mamun, Director, Institute of Appropriate Technology, BUET chaired the closing ceremony of the training workshop. Dr. Iftekhar Uddin Bhuiyan, Assistant Professor of IAT, BUET was moderator of the closing ceremony of the workshop.
