The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Daffodil International University (DIU) and the Pythonic Team jointly organized a seminar and workshop on Python Programming Language titled “A Journey to Python’ held on Sunday at DIU auditorium.
Prof Dr Syed Akhter Hossain, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of DIU was present at the function as chief guest.
Mafina Rashid Khan, Product Manager, Panacea Systems Ltd was present at the function as motivational speaker. Among others Dr Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Kaushik Sarker, Lecturer, Department of Software Engineering, Md Sabuj Sarker, Md Maha Hasan, Md Ishtiaq Hasan, Almas Zaman, Members of The Pythonic Team also addressed.
Prof Dr Syed Akhter Hossain said Python is a dynamic programming language and it’s easy to learn so students can do more work with less code and there are lots of opportunities in the job sector for the Python Programmers.
The speakers discussed about the history of python, introduction to Python Programming Language, usage of Python in organizations, companies, universities around the world, Real life applications of Python, web development, game development and scientific usages of Python etc.
Among 400 students from various universities of Bangladesh were present at the function. Md Tanjim Hasan and Md AL Rafi members of The Pythonic Team conducted the program.
