Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL) recently organised a workshop on rooftop industrial solar system installation at M. Anis UdDowla Conference Hall, Police Plaza Concord, Dhaka. The workshop’s objective is to promote the rooftop solar technology among the members of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dhaka (MCCI), said a press release.

Cost of electricity generation from solar rooftop is cheaper than that of grid tariff. Thus, financing such kind of projects makes financial sense apart from achieving the country’s target of renewable energy-based power generation.
