A workshop titled ‘Workshop and Research Paper Presentation on Econometrics’ was held on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
Department of Economics of JU organized the workshop recently at the seminar room of the department.
Professor Md Nurul Haque inaugurated the workshop while Noted Economist Professor Anu Muhammad addressed the inaugural session as the chief guest.
Presided over by Professor Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Professor Khandakar Md. Ashraful Munim, Associate Professor Aysha Siddiqua, Assistant Professor Nahid
Sultana and Lecturer of the department Nusrat Afroz Tania were present, among others.
A total of 13 research paper and articles of 23 students of the department were presented at the workshop.
Moreover, students of the department imparted training on the use of statistical software, research methodology and research paper presentation.
