A day long workshop for journalist on the issue of Women’s Empowerment was held at R.D.R.S Rangpur today. The workshop is supported and organized by USAID and VOA in partnership with Radio Today Media Academy.
It was actively participated in by 50 Journalists of Rangpur from both print and electronic media.
Legendary journalist and advisor to the caretaker Govt Mr. Mahbubul Alam intiated the discussion and responded to concerns raised by the journalists providing insights from his own experiences at home and abroad. He underlined the importance of gaining required competence and being properly trained especially in the broadcasting media.
