The body of a brick kiln worker was recovered from a pond of Tepukhuria village in Bagha upazila on Friday morning, a day after he went missing.
The deceased was identified as Ripon, 30, son of Dhola Miah, hailing from Dhamrai upazila in Dhaka.
Ali Mahmud, officer-in-charge of Bagha Police Station, said Ripon went missing on Thursday noon after he went to the pond for taking bath.
A team of divers from the district town reached the spot around 10am and recovered the body around 11:30am, said the OC.
Later, the body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
