A dock worker named Sagir Hawladar (30) died of electrocution at Badarkhali union in Sadar upazila ubder Barguna district. Sagir Hawladar was the son of Abdul Latif Miah of Gulishakhali village in the union. Ali Ahmed, Officer-in- Charge (OC) of Barguna Sadar Police Station, told the incident happened on Tuesday (June 7) around noon. Matiur Rahman Raja, chairman of Darkhali Union, confirming the incident, said Sagir died on the spot after being electrocuted while working there with his father on Tuesday afternoon.
