The EXIM Bank 25th National Men’s Handball Championship starts today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
Bangladesh Handball Federation will arrange the handball competition with the financial assistance of EXIM Bank Limited.
A total of 29 teams splitting into eight groups will take part in the ensuing handball meet.
Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks and Chairman of EXIM Bank Limited Md Nazrul Islam Majumder will inaugurate the handball meet as the chief guest while Managing Director of EXIM Bank Limited Dr Mohammad Haidar Ali Mia and former vice-president of Bangladesh Handball Federation Principal Hamida Ali will be with him as special guests.
President of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
