Wari Club and Bangladesh Ansar reached the final of the Popular Life Insurance Dhaka Metropolis Open Women’s Volleyball Competition on Sunday.
In the day’s first semifinal, Wari Club defeated Dhaka University by 3-0 sets at Dhaka Volleyball Stadium.
In the day’s second semifinal, Bangladesh Ansar beat Bangladesh Police by 3-0 sets at the same venue.
Today Wari Club will face Bangladesh Ansar in the final at 3.30 pm at the same venue.
After the final match, Managing Director of Popular Life Insurance Company Limited BM Yousuf Ali will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Sheikh Jamal not accept
resignation of Manjur Kader

The Executive Committee and the Football Committee of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited did not accept the resignation letter of Manjur Kader, the President of the Club in an emergency meeting on Sunday.
Earlier, Manjur Kader submitted his resignation letter showing his personal reason and physical grounds. But two committees of the Club jointly took decision not to accept his resignation letter, said a press release on Sunday.
