Bangladesh Volleyball Federation arranged a two-day open trial for women which began at National Volleyball Stadium on Sunday.
A total of 85 players, from different sports organisations, services and educational instaurations of the country, are taking part in the open trial.
After the trial, 18 players will be selected for long-term residential camp before the formation of National Women Volleyball Team.
IFAD Group Chairman Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu inaugurated the event as the chief guest.
In his speech, Tipu made a commitment to give incentive allowance — taka five thousand — to each player who will be selected for national camp from this trial.
