Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan (ARB) College Sporting Club blanked Nasrin Sporting Club (SC) by six goals to nil in the day’s first match of the Women’s Football League at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur on Wednesday.
The winners led the first half 1-0.
Sajeda Khatun and Unnati Khatun of ARB College Sporting Club scored two goals each and their teammates Shaheda Akter Ripa and Shwapna Rani netted one goal each.
It may be mentioned that earlier, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) postponed the Women’s Football League due to coronavirus pandemic of the country.
The Women’s Football League resumed on Wednesday.
