Miscreants brutally murdered a mother of three in Boalmari, Faridpur on Thursday night and dumped her body in a toilet tank.
The incident took place in Aadharkotha village in Boalmari upazila.
The deceased was identified as Nilufa Yasmin (40), reported our correspondent.
According to locals, Nilufa Yasmin lived alone in her house.
According to Nilufa’s family, they couldn’t her reach since afternoon, so Nilufa’s mother and daughter went to look for her in her house. Later, they found her body floating in the toilet tank.
On information, police and fire service members recovered her body around 8:30pm and sent it to Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Madhukhali Circle Sumon Kar said police started investigation in this regard.
