Woman volleyball team leaves for Nepal

A 17-member of national woman’s volleyball team left for Nepal on Wednesday to take part in the 1st South Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship to be held on December 19-23 at the Nepal Sports Council (Covered Hall).
The Bangladesh eve volleyball team comprised with 12 players and five officials.
Apart from host Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and the Maldives will compete in the championship, organised by Nepal Volleyball Association.
The Bangladesh eve team are expected to return home on December 24.
Bangladesh volleyball team: Aloa Khatun (captain), Sibbi Khanam (vice captain), Shahida Parveen, Suchona Parveen, Nusrat Jahan, Sharmin Parveen, Soheli Sultana, Lucky Khatun, Mimmi Khatun, Toma Khatun, Asha and Rubina Sultana.
Officials: Narayan Chandra Devnath (team leader), Sayeda Jannat Ara (team manager), M Zahedul Alam, (team official), Reza Ahmed Raza (team official) and Jakir Hossain (trainer).
