A woman was killed and five others injured in a road accident at Churamonkathi-Satmail area on Jessore-Jhenidah highway under Jessore Sadar upazila of the district Thursday evening.
The victim identified as Hasina Begum, 42, wife of Liakot Ali, hailed from Chandpara village under Jessore Sadar upazila of the district. Police and victim’s relatives said, the accident took place when a Jessore bound three-wheeler JSA collided head on with a motorcycle from opposite direction in the area.
