Jessore district unit of Bangladesh Nationalist Party at a press conference at Jessore Press Club, demanded withdrawal of the case that was filed against its leaders and activists including Tariqul Islam, national standing committee member, by the police on Monday.
Professor Golam Mostafa, vice-president, Jessore district unit BNP read out the written statement in the press conference was held on Tuesday.
The press conference was also attended among others by Mohammad Musa, vice -president, district unit BNP, Ferdaus Hossain, assistant organizing secretary, Mortaza Elahi Tipu, general secretary, Jhikargachha upazila unit BNP, Hasan Jahir, general secretary, Sharsha upazila unit and local leaders and activists of the party and its front organizations.
