Permanent members of Birshertho Mostofa Kamal Smriti Pathagar on Wednesday distributed winter clothes among the destitute people at Borhanuddin Upazila in Bhola district.
They distributed about 100 blankets and several dozens of winter dress in the Pathaghar situated at Hazirhat Bazar under Kutuba Union.
Dr Sirajul Islam donated all the clothes to the Birshertho Mostofa Kamal Sriti Pathagar.
Founder of the Pathagar Mehedi Al Amin, student of Jahangirnagar University Bulbul Ahmed, Dhaka College student Akbar Ali and Bhola Government College student Md Rubel were present, among others, during the distribution.
Mehedi Al Amin said, “We have been distributing the winter clothes among the poor people on behalf of the Pathagar since 2014. We also provide books and other reading materials to the poor students of this area.”
He also thanked all the well wishers and the donors of the Pathagar for their continuous support.
