Blankets were distributed among more than 500 visually impaired and cold-stricken people at Baluata High School in Melandah upazila of Jamalpur district recently. The programme was jointly organized by Melandah Rabia-Fainuddin Foundation, and Andho Kalyan Samiti. On this occasion, the discussion meeting was presided over by Mirza Fazle Rabbi, the founding President of the organization.

Rashid and blood donation organization Apanjan president poet Touhidul Islam Atal among others spoke in the programme. At the end of the program, prizes were distributed among the meritorious students.

Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent reports: Member of Parliament (MP) of Natore-4 Prof Abdul Quddus distributes 500 blankets among distress people at Baraigram upazila of Natore district. On this occasion, a discussion meeting was organized at Baraigram Union Parishad premises at on Friday under the chairmanship of UP Chairman Momin Ali.
Prof Abdul Quddus MP Upazila Awami League President Abdul Quddus Miaji, General Secretary Adv. Mizanur Rahman and others addressed the meeting.

BSS from Narail adds: Around 750 blankets were distributed among the helpless, madrasa students, orphans and cold-hit people in the district on Saturday.
Bangladesh Red Cresent Society district unit organised the distribution programme.
Narail Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Habibur Rahman handed over the blankets to the cold-hit people at Red Cresent Society district unit office premises as the chief guest with chairman of district council, also chairman of Red Cresent Society district unit, Advocate Shorab Hossain Biswas in the chair.
