UNB, Dhaka :A housewife was allegedly strangulated by his husband over family dispute at Khilgaon in the city on Tuesday afternoon.The deceased was identified as Fatema Begum Chaity, 22, wife of M Ramiz.Family members of the victim said Chaity was married off to Ramiz five years back.Since then, the couple had been at loggerheads over family matters.On Tuesday, they locked into an altercation and at one stage Ramiz strangulated his wife around 2:10pm, leaving her dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy, said DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Mozammel Hoque.
