Nazma Huq, wife of former Assistant Editor of the daily Ittefaq Ziaul Huq died of kidney ailment and other diseases recently in the city’s Kidney Foundation Hospital. She was 69.
She left behind husband, one son and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
She was buried at Kalshi Graveyard in the city’s Mirpur after Namaz-e-Janaza held at the Journalists’ Residential area.
A Doa Mahfil was also held at a mosque in the area for the salvation of the departed soul.
President and Secretary of Dhaka Sangbadik Grihasangsthan Samobaya Samity Limited Nurul Huda and Aminul Haque respectively have expressed condolence over the death of Nazma Huq.
