One Hasina Parvin, wife of a custom official convicted with 3 months simple imprisonment by a special court of chittagong on Wednesday .
Special Judge of Chittagong divisional court SM Ataur Rahman disclosed this judgement. Court acquitted her husband Abdul Quddus, a former Appraiser of Ctg customs from the allegations.
Special PP of Chittagong Divisional court Advocate Mesbahuddin told that for excess income of Tk.78.40 lakh beyond the legal incomes, Anti corruption Commission, Chittagong filed a corruption case before the double mooring thana on July 27, 2011 . After taking depositions of 11 witnesses, court declared this judgment on Wednesday . Later, on bail petition, Hasina Parvin granted bail on condition of appeal, sources said.
