UNB, Narayanganj :
A woman was killed allegedly by her husband and his family members at Marobdi in Sonargaon upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mansura, 24, wife of Shafiqul Islam and mother of a child.
Victim’s father alleged that Shafiqul and his family members killed Mansura on Monday noon following a family feud.
Rustam Ali, sub-inspector of Sonargaon Police Station, said on information, law enforcers went to the spot and found the woman’s body lying on the floor. The body bore injury marks on the throat.
Later, police recovered the body around 3pm and sent it to hospital for autopsy.
Shafiqul and his family members went on hiding following the incident.
