The Bang Bang! heartthrob, who is of part-Bengali heritage, performed at the Indian Premier League (IPL-8) opening ceremony at the Salt Lake stadium
in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Hrithik’s grandmother Ira – his father Rakesh Roshan’s mother – was a Bengali who married Punjabi musician Roshan.
In his stunning second live act in the city after 15 years, Hrithik cast a spell on his fans and sealed his connect with
West Bengal. Hrithik was overcome with nostalgia during the event.
The star son’s maiden live act after his stellar debut in father Rakesh’s Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, was at the same venue. He fondly recalled the first live performance of his career as the
