A four-member of Bangladesh women’s weightlifting team left for Uzbekistan on Wednesday morning to take part in the 27th senior women’s & senior men’s Asian weighting to be held in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan, on April 21-30.
It is expected that weightlifters from 25 to 30 countries will be vying for the coveted medals.
The Bangladesh women’s team members are 12th SA games gold winner Mabia Akter Shimanto, silver winners Phulpati Chakma and Rokeya Sultana Sathi, bronze winner, Molla Sabira Sultana and team’s coach Shahria Sultana Suchi.
