A weeklong ‘Madhu Mela’ in remembrance of 190th birth anniversary of poet Michael Madhusudan Dutta will begin at Sagordari in Keshabpur Upazila of the district on Jan 25.
Madhusudan Academy and different cultural groups in association with the district and upazila administration have organised the fair to mark the birth anniversary of the poet. The Mela will continue until January 31.

Manjur Alam.
State Minister for Public Administration Esmat Ara Sadek MP will inaugurate the weeklong Madhu Mela as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner Mustafijur Rahman in the chair.
