A week-long drama festival titled ‘Muktisangram Natya Utsab’ ended at Selim Al Deen Muktamacha of Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Friday.
JU Teacher Student Center (TSC) organized the function marking Independence and National Day-2017, said a JU press release on Saturday.
Jahangirnagar Theatre staged the drama ‘Informer’ and JU Drama and Dramatics Department staged ‘Jera’ on the last day of the festival.
On this occasion, a discussion session was addressed by Awami League Organizing Secretary AKM Enamul Haque shamim as the chief guest while JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Farzana Islam was in the chair.
Executive Editor of Pakkhik Anannya, a fortnightly women’s magazine, Tasmima Hossain addressed the function as special guest, the release added.
