Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office press release on Wednesday.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the river basins and northwestern part while light to moderate fog may occur at some places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at some places over northwestern part of the country.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the met office press release issued for 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 29.3 degrees Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature on Wednesday was 9.5 degrees Celsius at Dinajpur.
Wind direction and speed at Dhaka is North/North-westerly (06-12) kph.
