Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim expected a competitive ODI series against visiting Sri Lanka as he said they would emphasize on their best performance to bring a good result in the three-match ODI series starting from Monday at the Sher-e- Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) at Mirpur. He was talking to the newsmen at a pre-match press conference held on Sunday in the SBNCS conference room. “Undoubtedly, Sri Lanka is a better side.. if we want to win against them, we have to play our best cricket..and I hope our boys will able to give their all out effort against Sri Lanka,” said Mushfiq. The right-handed batsman explained that they have been playing consistence cricket in the last two years in t heir home ground. They are strong side in the ODI format especially in the home ground and hoped to keep the consistency in the ODI series. The diminutive wicket keeper, who missed the just concluded T20 series due to finger injury, said he is not fully recovered from his finger injury but he hoped that he would be able to play for the team in the ODI series. Asked about the best eleven, the Bangladesh skipper said as they have four pacers in the team but it was yet to decide who would play for the team. It would be decided after inspecting the condition of the field before the match. Asked about opener Tamim Iqbal , Mushfiq said, Tamim had his practice without any problem and he is expected to fully fit for the match.
