AFC U-16 Women's Championship: We are taking preparation for final round:Choton

Head Coach of Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team Golam Rabbani Choton said, ” We are taking preparation for the final round of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship. As part of the preparation, Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team are going to visit South Korea. The Women’s Football team will play four exhibition matches against the different teams of South Korea.”
Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team left the city on Sunday night for South Korea.
Choton spoke at a press conference at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Sunday. Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Mahfuza Akter Kiron, Technical & Strategic Director of BFF Paul Smalley, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, Assistant Coach of Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team Mahbubur Rahman Litu, Captain of Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team Krishnarani Sarkar were present at the conference, among others.
Choton said, ” We returned from Japan 10 days ago. There we played four matches. We have got chance to play against South Korea National Under-16 Women’s Football team. We shall come out from our mistakes. My girls gave their cent percent in Japan. They will give their best in South Korea. We are prepared to face our counterparts.”
Kiron said, ” Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team emerged as the champions of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Qualifiers in Dhaka. The team visited for two times in Japan, one time for Singapore and one time for China to play exhibition matches. The team will visit in Vietnam in August to play exhibition matches. Then the team will go to Thailand to take part in the final round of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship. Hoping that our team will bring a good result.”
Paul Smalley said, ” The team are developing by taking part in the preparation matches. The team have got an opportunity to take preparation in South Korea for the upcoming final round of the AFC Under-16 Women’s Championship in Thailand in September.”
Krishnarani Sarkar said, ” We took part in hard practice sessions. Hoping that we shall do well. Our confidence is now in a high level.”
Bangladesh National Under-16 Women’s Football team will take on South Korea National Under-16 Women’s Football team on July 11, face Oju Middle School Women’s Football Club on July 14, meet Yulmyun Middle School Women’s Football Club on July 17 and play against Oju Middle School Women’s Football Club on July 19.
