The World Bank will provide US$ 300 million in loan assistance to implement a project titled ‘Financial Sector Support Project (FSSP).
The government and the WB will sign a deal on Tuesday on the project to be implemented by the Bangladesh Bank, said an official on Monday.
Economic Relations Division (ERD) Senior Secretary ERD Senior Secretary Mohammad Mejbahuddin and acting country director of the World Bank Dhaka Office Christine E Kimes will sign the loan deal on behalf of their respective sides.
The signing ceremony will be held at ERD’s NEC conference in the afternoon.
