Water levels of 50 rivers rise, 38 fall

Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked the water levels at 50 river stations rise while 38 stations fall.
Among the 90 monitored water level stations, no river was flowing above danger level, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Monday. The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Padma and Surma-Kushiyara rivers are in rising trend, while the Ganges river is in falling trend. The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Surma-Kushiyara and the Padma rivers are likely to continue rising in next 24 hours. The Ganges river is likely to continue falling in next 24 hours. No significant rainfall was recorded during the last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Monday.
