Water levels in 17 rivers rise, 66 fall

Water levels in 17 rivers stations monitored by Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) have marked rise and 66 stations recorded fall.
Among the 94 monitored water level stations, 10 are steady, a bulletin issued by FFWC said on Monday.
All the major rivers are flowing below their respective danger level. The Brahmaputra-Jamuna, Ganges-Padma and the major rivers of Meghna basin are in falling trend which may continue in next 5 days.
