Wari Club, Dhaka University (DU), Shahbagh Sporting Club and Sparkling Andromeda Club moved into the semi-finals of the Popular Life Insurance Dhaka Metropolis Open Women’s Volleyball Competition on Sunday.
Today Wari Club will face Dhaka University in the first semi-final at 3.00 pm, while Shahbagh Sporting Club will meet Sparkling Andromeda Club at 3.00 pm at the Volleyball Stadium.
In the day’s matches, Dhaka University edged past Viqarunnisa Noon School & College by 2-1 sets, Sparkling Andromeda Club eased past Bangladesh University of Professionals by 2-0 sets, Wari Club defeated United Club by 2-0 sets, Shahbagh Sporting Club beat Viqarunnisa Noon School & College by 2-0 sets at the same venue.
