Walton starts sale homemade elevators

Country’s electronic brand Walton is now manufacturing passengers and cargo elevators in its own factory following the European technology and standard. After meeting its internal demands, the local brand started the commercial sales of its made elevators.
Syed Mustafizur Rahman, former chairman of Chemistry Department of Jagannath University, is the first customer of ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled Walton made passenger lifts, said a press release.
Film actor Amin Khan, head of brand development department of Walton Group, recently officially handed over an elevator of 300 kg capacity to Rahman at his resident at Uttara in Dhaka.
During that time, Walton Group’s Operative Directors Md. Firoj Alam, Shahajada Selim and Shakhawat Hossen, Deputy Operative Director Sohel Rana, Chief Executive Director of Walton Elevator Mithun Kumar Nondi, among others were also present.
Dwelling on the purchase of Walton Elevator, buyer Syed Mustafizur Rahman said, “Being a Bangladeshi brand, Walton secured the top position in the country’s electronics sector. I have been using Walton brand fridge for several couple of years and getting sound services. Thus, I have a good faith on the quality of Walton products.”
Purchase of the local brand lift will help me get the post sales services swiftly, he expressed it as another reason for the purchase of Walton fridge, he noted.
Walton Group’s Deputy Operative Director Sohel Rana informed that the elevator manufacturing unit of the company was established with huge investment at Walton factory in Chadra, Gazipur.
