The local electronics giant Walton has sold out one lakh units of gas stoves in a single day as the demands were drastically increased across the country due to high quality and affordable prices.
Terming the huge sales as a record in the domestic market, the sales and marketing officials of the local brand noted that one lakh units of gas stoves were never sold out in a single day, said a press release.
On 14 October, Walton for the first time sold out one lakh units of gas stoves in the domestic market, the officials disclosed it while celebrating this success by cutting a cake at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Tuesday last. Walton Group’s Executive Directors Eva Rezwana, Amdadul Haque Sarker, Nazrul Islam Sarker and Mohammad Rayhan, Operative Director Robiul Alam Bhuiyan, Walton Home Appliances’ (HAP) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Atikul Islam, Sales and Marketing Head Mashroor Hasan and Product Manager Janesar Ali, and some other sales and marketing executives were present at the celebration programme.
Walton HAP’s COO Atikul Islam said that their locally produced gas stoves are getting sound responses from the customers mainly due to some uniqueness like high quality, durability, affordable prices, lucrative and fast cooking with low gas consumption.
