The Walton 3rd Muscle Mania Bodybuilding Competition, to be organised by Muscle Mania Fitness Club under the auspices of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation, begins today (Thursday) at the NSC Tower Gymnasium here.
Additional Director of the meet’ sponsor Walton (RB Group) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn will inaugurate the two-day meet in the morning.
Sports Ambassador of Walton Zobera Rahman Linu, General Secretary of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation M Nazrul Islam, Managing Director of
Muscle Mania Club Abdur Rahman Rajib will also be present on the occasion.
Some 100 leading bodybuilders from all over the country are expected to compete in the two-day meet sponsored by Walton (RB Group).
Six weight categories — 60 kgs, 65 kgs, 70 kgs, 75 kgs, 80 kgs and + 80 kgs -are included in the 3rd version of the competition which is open for all.
The champions of each weight category will be awarded with cash prize of Taka 12,000, runner-up Tk 6,000 and the 3rd ranked Tk 3,000 each in addition to trophy and certificate.
Besides, the overall champion of the meet to be known as Walton Mister Muscle Mania Bodybuilder 2014 will receive extra prize money of Tk 30,000.
