Rain with squally wind likely at some places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Saturday.
“Rain or thundershowers with intense lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with hails at isolated places.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 35 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 20.4 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur under Rangpur division.
