The Walton Marcel Singna Boat Race will be held in Kumari Marshland under Kalihati Upzila in Tangail on August 1.
Singna Social Welfare Youth Sangha will arrange the day-long Boat Race with the assistance of Bangladesh Rowing Federation. Walton & Marcel will sponsor the meet.
Regarding the forthcoming competition, a press conference was held at the conference of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. Convener of the Walton Marcel Singna Boat Race Mir Kaisar Sadik Sajib, Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, First Senior Deputy Director of Marcel Mosharrof Hossain Rajib, Brand Ambassador of Walton Marcel Singna Boat Race Alexander Bo and Administrator of Bangabandhu National Stadium Md Yahia were present at the conference.
A total of hundred boats splitting into five groups will take part in the meet. The division of the competition are : Men’s Division and Women’s Division.
The prizes of the winners are: Walton Fridge, Walton Colour Television and Walton Home Appliance.
Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Abdul Latif Siddique, MP will be the chief guest of the meet while Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, First Senior Deputy Director of Marcel Mosharrof Hossain Rajib, Chairperson of Great Actor Manna Foundation Shelly Manna will be present with him as special guests.
