Walton Group eyes to sale 1m TV in 2020

Walton and Marcel, two brand of the local electronics giant Walton Group, have set a target of selling 10 lakh or one million units of television in this year. The target is about 66.67 higher than their TV sales of the previous year.
Last year, the two local brands all together sold out 6 lakh units of LED and Smart television as against the target of 5.02 lakh units, registering a 85 percent growth than the TV sales of 2018.
To celebrate the great success in TV sales, Walton organised a day-long ‘Mega Achievement Celebration and Best TV Branding Award’ at its corporate office in the capital on Tuesday.
At the day-long function, a total of 27 employees of Walton and Marcel TV departments were honoured with Mega Achievement Celebration Award for outstanding contribution in surpassing the last year’s sales target. In addition, some 20 distributors and Plaza managers also received ‘Best TV Branding Award’ for conducting extra-ordinary advertisement of the ‘Saddhore Moddhe Srestha TV’ campaign’s Season-1.
While addressing the event, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited Director Raisa Sigma Hima announced that this year they set a target of selling one million units of LED and Smart TV. She named the target as ‘Mission 1 Million’.
