In fond memory of sports and political personality Selim Al Mahmud, a three-day body building competition named Selim Al Mahmud Mr. Dhaka and Master Dhaka Open Body Building Competition will begin from March 26.
This meet is being sponsored by Walton Group and under the guidance of South Point Fitness Zone and organized by Bangladesh Body Building Federation (BBBF).
Body builders from different organizations and clubs will be vying for 10 weight categories. While in Master Category the competitor had to be over the age of 40.
The organizers believes near about 200 competitors from 80 clubs will be taking in this year’s completion.
Mayor of South Dhaka, Mohammad Syeed Khokon will be the chief guest in the opening and closing ceremony.
BBBF and Walton Group jointly organised a press conference on Sunday to provide all details of the competition.
