Visitors throng DITF

The premium stalls and pavilions of electronics goods, prinked with exceptional decoration in the month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair 2015 in the capital, have greatly focused on locally made products rather than imported ones.
Visitors, especially from the low and middle income groups, crowded the stalls and pavilions of local electronics, automobile and home appliance manufacturing companies like Walton, Runner, MyOne, Jamuna Electronics, RFL and some other companies to buy things at affordable rates.
The companies have brought new models of different range of electronics and home appliances as the customers, especially the young folk, have expressed their keen interest in locally-made products for their quality and price competitiveness.
With a view to attracting the visitors and customers, different local companies are offering special price discount in the country’s mega expo. Centering the month-long DITF, Walton made extensive preparations to attract customers and visitors by eye-catching decoration of their pavilions as well as quality products.
While talking Md Akramuzzaman (Apu), manager of Walton Premier Pavilion No-8 at the DITF, said that Walton has brought 34 new products and also brought 30 new models of television, refrigerator, air-conditioner, motorcycle, mobile and home appliance products.
Apu said, we are showcasing 24” to 55” colour line LED televisions within the price range from Tk21,500 to 99,000, 19” to 23” LED televisions between Tk 9,500 and 21,800 and 14” to 21” CRT television between Tk 7,600 to Tk 13,800.
Another local motorbike manufacturer ‘Runner Automobile’ sells different models of motorcycle and transport vehicles at DITF. Alek Khondker, senior executive of Runner Group, said, they are experiencing huge visitors and buyers.
