Visiting Indian war ship leaves today

The visiting war ship of Indian Navy INS Ranjit will leave Chittagong Naval base onward destination to Indian Naval base today after completing the 3 days goodwill visit to Bangladesh. The Indian war ship INS Ranjit arrived Chittagong Naval base in Patenga on Tuesday afternoon on 3-day goodwill visit .
 Captain of the Indian Navy Mohendra Bir Sing Negi was the commander of the ship . Chief Staff Officer of Chittagong Naval Base Capt. AKM Sherfullah welcomed the Indian captain and the officers, crews of the ship .
 Besides, Asstt. High Commissioner of Indian in Chittagong Somnath Halder and the senior officials of BN were present on the occasion. Naval band of Bangladesh presented band parade in honour of the Indian counterparts welcoming the Indian war ship. Commander of Bangladesh Navy Intelligence Comdr. Shamim told that there are 50 officers, and 350 crews onboard of the ship and the length of the ship is about 147 meters long .
Sources said during the visit of the INS Ranjit, the officers and the sailorswill visit different places of interests and naval bases in Chittagong . The visiting war ship remained open for the students of school and colleges for last three days.
