President of Chattogram South District Unit of Awami League and nominee of Chattogram -8 constituency for by-election Md. Moslemuddin Ahmed said, my first and major task is making visible of new Kalurghat Bridge.
He said Prime Minister admires me and following my demands of new Kalurghat bridge over river Karnaphuli to the Prime Minister in 2010, she commits for implementation of the long cherished demand of a new bridge. It was disclosed it to the journalists while exchanging views with the media persons at Bangabandu Hall of Chattogram Press Club yesterday.
Moslemuddin said no spots of blood in my hand and I want to be elected through vote casting not terrorism and anarchy. He said I am a simple politician and and used to practice politics with the ideals of Bangabandhu since 1965.He reiterated the assassination of Bangabandhu in 1975 and I was active in politics to take revenge of Bangandhu’s killing under the leadership of Moulvi Syed during that crucial time.
I was a active worker of Chhatra League, Jubo League and was the general secretary of south district Awami league for the last 27 years and after death of Akhteruzzaman Chowdhury Babu Bhai ,I was assigned as president of the south district unit. He also told that he never involved with JSD or BAKSAL politics and done the mainstream politics of Awami League. Moslemuddin recollected the memories of the expired lawmaker Moinuiddin Khan Badal .
He said Boalkhali is a very less developed upazila of Chattogram and a place of higher education .
He urges the people of that constituency irrespective of caste and creed to work for Boat symbol and casting of vote in favour of Boat .
