The vigilance activities of the Karanaphuli Gas Distribution Company Ltd against the illegal use of pipeline gas continuing in the port city . As a part of their vigilance activities , counducted drive in Kulgaon, Jalalabad and Middle Burirchar areas in city on September 22 last .
The drive continued from 11 am to 4 pm , sources said. During the drive, gas connections in 11 residential houses have been disconnected for alleged use of gas beyond the approved plan. Besides, a mobile team of the KGDCL was conducted in Sagarika Road under Pahartali thana and Airport road under Patenga thana on September 20 last .
During the drive, gas connections of M/s.Elias Brothers, M/s.Marbin Vegetable Oils and M/s. Jasmir Vegetable Oil were snapped for non-submission of License of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission to KGDCL.
