A victory rally was brought out at Kapasia in Gazipur on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of Victory Day and the centenary of Mujib. In the hope of building the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s dream by tackling all kinds of conspiracies. The rally came out from in front of Kapasia Government Pilot High School on Saturday afternoon and went around the main road of Upazila Sadar and came to Kapasia Old Paddy Bazaar. A discussion meeting was held at the end of the rally. Leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliates from different unions of the upazila took part in the victory rally in procession. Simeen Hussain Rimi MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Culture addressed the discussion as the chief guest through an audio conference presided over by former MP Bir Muktijoddha Muhammad Shahidullah and General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Pradhan. Among others, Upazila Parishad Chairman and District Awami League Vice-President Advocate Md. Amanat Hossain Khan, Upazila Awami League Joint Secretary Md. Mahbub Uddin Ahmed Selim, Upazila Juba League President Sadar UP Chairman Sakhawat Hossain Pradhan, Upazila Chhatra League President Mahmudul Hasan Mamun and others spoke.
Baraigram (Natore) Correspondent adds: The Victory rally was brought out by Baraigram Upazila and Bonpara Municipal Awami League jointly at Bonpara Pouro town on Saturday afternoon on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of Independence and Mujib Year.
Bonpara Municipal Mayor and President of Municipal Awami League KM Zakir Hossain, President of Upazila Awami League Abdul Quddus Miaji, General Secretary Adv.Mizanur Rahman, Former Joint Secretary Moazzem Hossain Bablu, Former Chairman of UP Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Ward Councilor Sharifunnesa Shirin, Awami League leader Farid Hossain, former president of Upazila Chhatra League Zillur Rahman Jinnah and general secretary Shafiqul Islam Sardar and current General Secretary Manik Raihan spoke at the procession.
